a stern message to the gentlemen who use my bathroom

i have noticed that sometimes when d00ds use the bathroom on my all-girls floor, they leave that seat up. that is NOT okay. i decided to take some action. i wanted a stern message with an angry black man pictured. so i googled “angry black man” and appropriately enough, the Unforgivable guy was a top hit. so i went with that theme. and here is the result.

this is how all three(3) of the stalls look now.

and if your old eyes still can’t read that shiz:

and just for kicks: here is a cool picture and a picture of the urinals that boys are NOT allowed to use on my floor. I dont want to walk in there to see yalls member out yo pants.

so plz. put the seats down. i dont want to touch them. ick.

this picture is to let you know i haven’t fallen off the face of the earth*.

*like that could happen. gravity FTW.

quick statements:

i found this picture while searching for random letter combinations. this came from searching ‘blong’

cough syrup is great for coughs/sleep(but probably not as it is 3:14AM EST and i am still awake. ugh.)

i have been using my ipod more lately.

ate too many cookies today

mad urges to embroider lately. i really wish i hadnt left my supplies at home.

birthday is on Monday. 19 yall.

i am dehydrated.

i am dirty. n33d 2 shower.

laundry is expensive.

I am reading the diary of anne frank for the first time since 3rd grade. I brought it along on our trip to Italy. I remember being sprawled out on the textured bedspread in the room we rented in Florence, red fuzzballs occasionally floating up and landing on the pages.

coincidentally the next book on my nightstand/fridge is the Night trilogy by Eli Wiesel. Following that some book Sasha’s mother told her she had to read before she was intellectually permitted to read Nietzsche. Perhaps a less depressing book is in order.
maybe?

i am taking typography next semester. should i spring for the 75 bucks and get this ampersand shaped cutting board for my teacher for an guaranteed a?

in other news:
i used a new tag today. “Books” strange it hadn’t come up before considering i enjoy reading and up until a few weeks ago my mothers job was to edit book reviews, write book reviews and read books(what i’m getting at is that i had a lot of free books).

Leaves and I have a L0VE-H8 relationship.

When I was little I was pretty into raking leaves. I mean, raking them was actually the shitty part, but jumping in them afterwards was really great. Not that leaves ever really acted as that great of a padding. You pretty much were just hoping for the leaves to fly everywhere. That was the only pay off for jumping up and landing on the ground and getting crunchy shit in every single orifice. Actually the entire idea seems pretty stupid now. All of the “free-spirited” people at college think they are alternative and don’t care about social norms for “growing up” and jump in the piles of leaves that have been painstakingly created by the landscaping staff. Anyways, the point is that eventually I got sick of raking leaves but I still had to do it. But what is cool is that I sort of developed an allergy to dry ass leaves. I started getting hives all over when I was raking the leaves so i didnt have to do it ever again and the bottom line is that if you hate a chore, you can pretty much convince your body to get allergic to it and it will oblige you.

But I DO like the fall colors. To be honest, one of my reasons for choosing Indiana University was the trees. I visited last year just as the trees were starting to turn colors and I was pretty much sold on the place. Well, that is a lie because I pretty much hated the idea of the entire state of Indiana until like 5 months ago, but it was a selling point for sure. This is the part of the post where I’d like to post a picture of the pretty leaves on campus, but its dark outside. so Here is a picture of what you would see if you were my laptop and tilted slightly to your left/my right:

streetlamp that keeps me up. ugh. h8 you.

also: that is not the moon at the top of the window, its an obama poster. obama=so into circles. srsly. so progressive.

here is a picture I did not take of fall leaves at IU:

in other news: OBAMA WON YALL. if you read the first post on this blog over 2 years ago, you would know that i predicted this long long ago. I win.

::edit::
here is a picture from my shitty phone camera. check out the foliage yall.

boyfriendz part II

my boyfriend should also wear these really great swimming trunks. so beautiful. really.

lady on burda style made them. soo good.

in other news: only three days left til I leave for college. Its a pretty stressful time. I have so much on my to-do list that is kind of time sensitive and then i have all the people i want to see before i leave. Here are some of my iCal events and to-dos before i go:

8/20
FAM DINNNER AT MARCHE 530
ADRIAN HANGOUTZ
ANON, GOOD NURSE AT REGGIES

8/21
MORNING SHOPPING WITH IAN
DINNER WITH ERIC

8/22
AIRBRUSH TSHIRTS WITH SASHA

and then i leave on saturday! that is a lot of stuff to do considering i also have to pack the other half of my stuff. and complete this to do list:

Compare PC and Mac music libraries and burn the difference.

Memorize gracias ala vida and it had to be you lyrics.

snacks

laundry detergent

kleenex

Start PRINCESS BRIDE tshirt

tell dan wakenfield that his voice is not just morrisey, it also has a touch of stephen malkmus

Finish “OUR BAND COULD BE YOUR LIFE” and give it back to adrian

hamper

umbrella

showershoes

i mean, i guess i can wait to tell dan about his voice. But really. everything else is pretty time sensitive. mainly i have to pack. thats the big deal. and i am such a “stuff” person that i really need to have my things or i will be uncomfortable in my dorm.

oowee i’ma miss this pretty city.

i have one more day of high school left.

its been a good run. i’ve made killer friends and learned so much academically and personally.

i dont want to be a tool and just say all this sentimental shiz, but it really is true.

i really need an unlimited texting plan. god. someone make cingular reduce their rates or something.

tomorrow is college tshirt day. some finals. i dont even have my camera. people better fbook the shiz out of my life. kthxbai.

sweet ink (THIS IS A PUN)

took the AP comp test a few days ago. pretty much pwnt it. My english teacher gives out tattoos to her students to remind them to “cop a ‘tude” for the test. so she had pirate themed tattoos but i wanted to go above and beyond and make sure everyeone knew i was a temp tattoo enthusiast. so i put on one of mine. a key with some ribbon. i said it was the Key to all the answers on the test.

but since the comp test is over, we don’t do much in class. we are supposed to be reading books, but i was too tired to absorb any language so i just drew some more doodles.

what highschool has become

i have like 10 days of class/finals left or something. here is what i did today during my composition class.

some explanation:
- my freecyle digest had a solicitation for a HUGE chinchilla cage.
- prom is soon
- i was thinking about mexico
- i dont even know what dashboard was about…
- after finals and AP tests every year SLK and i eat candy bars that we call ‘victory bars’
- my AP test is tomorrow and my class is having a breakfast. i am bringing in a playlist of music to pump us up.
- i draw ridiculous animals.

Doggie Bag (Wrap it Up)

things are starting to wrap up.

- i am officially in the last quarter of highschool. ever. heckie.snap.
- THERE ARE ONLY 5 MONDAYS LEFT.
- my prom dress is being shipped from Dublin, Ohio tomorrow.
- will probably pick up shoes this weekend.
- i am picking out dates for freshman orientation at a fantastic school.

-i am getting nervous and frantic about not seeing most of the people i go to school with. I care for them all, but very few of them do i consider myself close to. I will of course see Sarah Little because she is my BFF and we hang out outside of school, but lots of kids who i spend so much time learning (and avoiding learning) with will vanish from my life. its all starting to get very final. its exciting but daunting.  and though i try to delude myself into thinking that facebook in all its glory will come to my rescue reminding me to keep in touch with these friends, i will be busy with my life and they will be busy with theirs.

depressing.

damn.

do people spell it doggie or doggy? whatever.
