law&order vs. interwebs.

nataliedee.com

Lots of Times i will say that things are the story of my life. This time I am seriously not kidding. My week is pretty much guaranteed to be graced by at least 4 episodes of Law & Order. And the best part is, that I dont watch reruns unless they are really good ones. So pretty much the amount Law & Order episodes are continuously increasing exponentially. Much like a population of rabbits or maggots. But actually not like that because Law & Order does not shed over all of your clothes or live on raw meat. sick.

Anyways, this debate over the internet and Law & Order led me to make a list of the pros and cons of each entity.

To begin, here are the pros:

Law&Order Interwebs.

  • Hot Mariska Hargitay from SVU, my favorite of the trifecta of justice shows. She is beautiful and she still is in shape even after pushing a kid out her vajayjay.
  • What other show has an iced beverage in their credits? ICE-T RULES!
  • Vincent D’Onofrio is a really good actor. If i saw him on the street, i would totally walk up to him and expect him to tell me something about myself that only the eccentric Detective Robert Goren would know. But alas, he is human.
  • Detective Munch is always treating everyones lives ecause he is so funny. But he also keeps having these crazy personal anecdotes that connect him on a deeper level to the victim. Thats DEEP. Thanks Dick Wolf.
  • One of my lifelong aspirations is to do a cover of the Law & Order theme song. Its so good. I like to sing along in those brief moments before i get sucked into the plot.
  • Although he is now diceased, Jerry Orbach reruns still get me. He was a quality human being and made a really good partner with Detective Ed Green who always keeps it real.
  • Last but not least, no one can forget about Eliot Stabler Played bye Chris Meloni. The way he beats people up always makes me feel like the justice system is working out quite nicely.

As far as the Intarwubs… well

  • assorted ridiculous blogs that frequently make me “lol” or sometimes even “rofl”
  • a never ending supply of weightwatchers ads and sweet games to see who can knit faster: bush or saddam?
  • FACEBOOK
  • xanga, which although it has currently sunken into the back corners of the internet, i intend to bring it back. Much like justin timberlake brought back sexy. But this will be less catchy.
  • okay. well this one isnt internet, but its just ‘computer time’ SOLITAIRE. i really like this game. i just started getting into it again. its just like 3rd grade computers class all over again. but with less mavis beacon teaches typing
